Denver Broncos’ Team Bonding, Mark Sanchez Style

The Denver Broncos’ off-season team activities (OTAs) won’t start until April 13th. That is the first day the Broncos’ players can go to the team facility located at Dove Valley and workout. With that being a few weeks away, Denver Broncos quarterback Mark Sanchez has been holding a passing camp with some of his teammates in Orange County this week.

This shows that Sanchez wants to be a leader and get to know his teammates before the season begins. According to CBSsportsline.com, Broncos receiver Bennie Folwer said, “It shows he wants to come in and get to know us before OTAs start. I think it’s really good. It’s going to help us get off to a good start.”

This is a worthwhile effort for Mark Sanchez. He is able to workout with his teammates and the receivers can adjust to his style of play. What Sanchez is doing isn’t unheard of. Peyton Manning did the same thing when he was a member of the Denver Broncos. Manning brought a few of his Broncos’ teammates to Duke University. Eli Manning would meet him there with a couple of his New York Giants’ teammates.

Sanchez may not be the starter with the Denver Broncos. He knows that he has a lot of work to do to win over his teammates and coaches. This is still a respectable move on Sanchez’s part. Teammates are able to see a different side of him than just the competitor on the field. Once OTA’s start it will be all about football.

What do you think of Mark Sanchez holding a passing camp with his teammates?
